Like many, I was heartbroken to have to postpone all my shoots just as we were entering peak season. Photography isn’t just a job, it’s my hobby and passion. Without it, I feel like I’ve lost a limb.
I have my own daily photography project (Project 366) which documents my family, but I knew I needed something else to keep me sane and get me through this difficult time. Inspired by other photographers, I decided to put my skills to good use and give something back to our community, and so On the Doorstep was launched.
Once a week during lockdown, I will be taking my camera with me on my daily walk and snapping some pics of you on your doorstep (or drive, but no further). I will be a safe distance and no contact will be made.
Family photos feel more precious than ever right now and this project is just a fun way to document this crazy time.
