Here comes the awkward bit when I brag about my photography achievements.
Drumroll, please…
I’m a Click Pro Master, Hello Artist, Vogue and This Detailed Life published photographer.
This represents years of passion, dedication, and hard work.
I’m a Hello Artist
Hello Artist is a group of creatives with the common goal of artistically telling stories through their work.
To become part of this group, I had to submit a portfolio of 100 images which was reviewed by a panel of artists. It’s a tough process, really tough, and something I was working on for a good year. A minimum score of 55 or higher demonstrating a unique voice and style, as well as a cohesive and consistent presentation, out of 70 possible points was required to be accepted as a Hello Artist.
And I did it! I was accepted on my birthday in 2020, what amazing timing.
Up next was Click Pro Elite
In 2021 I finally pushed the submit button on my Click Pro Elite application and a portfolio of images I’d been working on for years.
150 images to be exact.
Putting together a portfolio of 150 images was tough. Every time I got close to that number I would pick faults and delete a load of images and start rebuilding. Self-sabotage, I know. The fact that I finally submitted was a massive achievement.
My portfolio consisted of photos of my own family. It was a personal goal and it was really important to me to use photos of my own family as they’re at the heart and soul of my work.
I was so nervous to open the email with my result, honestly, it felt more significant than my university degree. I cried big fat happy tears when I finally stopped jumping up and down with excitement. Little old me, Kayleigh Williams is a Click Pro Elite!
Vogue – PhotoVogue has published my work 7 times.
Vogue published – it doesn’t get boring to say that!
PhotoVogue is an online photography platform curated by the photo editors of Vogue Italia. The platform showcases the work of photographers all over the world.
Once a week photographers have the opportunity to submit two photos. These photos then go through a very tough review process to ensure they meet Vogue’s standards and aesthetics.
I’m not going to be modest and say it’s no big deal to have a photo accepted. It’s the best feeling to see the Vogue logo appear on my work.

As their name suggests, they’re big on details but also real emotions and moments – all of which are so important in my photography.
It’s an amazing feeling to see my work published alongside photographers who inspire me. I give myself a little pinch when I see my work in print.
